RN - Circulator OR

Job Details:

• Travel OR RN Circulator position available immediately for a 13-week assignment
• Shift options: 3x12-hour days from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 5x8-hour days from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Call required: 1-2 nights per week (first and second call), 1 weekend every 6 weeks
• 48-hour guarantees may be requested
• Blocked scheduling may be requested
• Minimum 2+ years of OR RN experience required
• Experience required in Robotics, Orthopedics, General Surgery, and OBGYN
• Circulating cases including pulling supplies and equipment for cases
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• 9-bed unit
• EMR system: Cerner
• Scrub color: Green
• Responsibilities include ensuring supplies, timeliness of cases, communication with families, updating physician preference cards, scrubbing and assisting physicians during surgical cases, and supervision of personnel delivering patient care
• Demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for patient care in the operating room
• Works collaboratively with Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, ORTs, and other personnel in accordance with State Nurse Practice Act, AORN, and regulatory standards
