Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Floating to other units as needed
• Specialize in caring for patients with liver, kidney, and pancreatic diseases, including transplant recipients
• Care for patients with complex gastrointestinal disorders
• Unit serves as a med-surg/tele overflow unit with a daily census of 32 patients
• Perform and assist with abdominal organ transplants and advanced abdominal surgeries including Whipple procedures
• Utilize skills in MS/Tele, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, and use of Rapid Response/Code teams
• Manage peripheral line care, oxygen administration, non-invasive airway management, and isolation precautions/PPE
• Provide feeding tube care and management
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Transplant experience specifically with liver, kidney, and pancreas required
• Valid California nursing license required
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
• Pre-approved time off: up to 2 days
