Telemetry RN Job in Antioch, CA

Sutter Health Delta Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for our 24-bed Telemetry unit. You'll join a team providing care to adult patients with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 4:1 across all shifts.

Position Details

• Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts with variable scheduling, including every other weekend
• Duration: 91 days
• Weekly pay: $2,099
• Start date: November 17, 2026

Your Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry, interpret rhythms, and recognize common arrhythmias (A-fib, A-flutter, SVT, VT, PVCs, PACs) with appropriate escalation
• Initiate, titrate, monitor, and document cardiac drips including Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Dobutamine
• Manage Lasix, insulin drips, and heparin drips using protocol-based titration
• Administer blood products, manage central lines and PICC lines, perform phlebotomy, and provide wound care and tracheostomy care
• Use Epic charting system and collaborate with rapid response and code teams

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license in California
• Minimum one year of Med/Surg or Telemetry experience; two years preferred
• Travel healthcare experience required
• Valid ACLS and BLS (AHA or ARC) certifications
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred
• Proficiency with telemetry monitoring and Epic charting

Preferred Qualifications

• Charge nurse experience
• Community hospital experience
• Trauma Level I and II experience
