Med Surg RN Job in Florence, SC

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Medical Surgical unit at MUSC Health - Florence. This is a 91-day travel assignment ideal for nurses with at least one year of med/surg experience, including first-time travelers.

Schedule & Compensation

• 3 shifts per week, 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
• Every other weekend requirement with holiday rotation
• No on-call required
• Weekly pay: $1,798
• Start date: November 16, 2026

Unit Details

• Patient ratios: 1:6–7 across all shifts
• Daily census: 36 patients
• Adult and geriatric population
• May float to other med/surg units as needed
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

Requirements

• Current South Carolina RN license or Compact license (must be in hand before start)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of med/surg nursing experience

Key Skills & Experience

• CVA care, feeding tube care and management
• Isolation precautions and PPE protocols
• Nasal cannula and oxygen administration
• Peripheral line care and management
• Starting and maintaining IVs
• Renal failure management
• Rapid response and code team participation
