Occupational Therapist Job in Cumming, GA

Northside Hospital Forsyth is seeking an Occupational Therapist for an 89-day travel assignment beginning November 23, 2026. You will work a 5×8 schedule, typically 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with a variable schedule that includes required weekends.

Your Role

You will support acute care patients throughout the hospital based on physician orders. Your caseload will include a wide variety of medical and surgical diagnoses, including ICU patients, stroke and neurological conditions, orthopedics, and general debility. You will document and communicate using the Cerner electronic health record system (One Chart).

Requirements

• Current Georgia OT license
• Minimum 2 years of experience within specialty
• BLS certification
• Non-local candidates only—must reside more than 50 miles from facility

Holiday Commitment

You must work 2 of the following 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day. You must also work 1 minor holiday from the following: Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve.

Compensation

Weekly pay is $2,389.73. This is a travel assignment for qualified occupational therapists ready to deliver patient-centered care in an acute care setting.
