Case Management RN Job in Bethel, AK

Yukon Kuskokwim Health Corporation is seeking a Registered Nurse Case Manager for a 91-day travel assignment in Bethel, Alaska. You will oversee comprehensive case management for individuals in the public health system, managing well-child checkups, immunizations, tuberculosis and infectious disease screening, chronic health condition management, and disease case investigations.

Your responsibilities include:

• Train Community Health Aides and Practitioners (CHA/Ps) to administer public health testing, examinations, immunizations, and assist with screening, diagnostic testing, and case investigations
• Participate in the design, execution, monitoring, and quality assurance of Well Child/Immunization and other public health programs
• Travel to various villages to provide direct services and on-site instruction
• Support CHA/Ps in conducting examinations, assisting with testing, and administering immunizations while maintaining health and safety protocols
• Provide education on immunizations, chronic care, preventive health examinations, and diagnostic and surveillance testing
• Assist with instruction during Health Aide Training and Continuing Medical Education (CME) events
• Coordinate with healthcare providers, maintain accurate patient records, and monitor patient progress
• Identify areas for program improvement and propose effective strategies

Requirements: Minimum 2 years of RN experience or public health background; current Alaska RN licensure; BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS recommended. Knowledge and experience in pediatrics required. Must become proficient with Cerner and its modules, and EPSDT exam equipment and tools within 3 months. Experience teaching in cross-cultural settings and familiarity with the Community Health Aide Program preferred. Fluency in Yugtun preferred. Proficiency in MS Office software (Word, Excel, Access) required.

Assignment Details: Days shift, 40 guaranteed hours per week. Weekly pay: $2,628. Start date: November 3, 2026. Duration: 91 days.
