ED - Emergency Room

Job Details:

• Work in a combined adult and pediatric emergency department with 7 rooms/beds
• Patient ratio of 1:4 on all shifts
• Average of 20 patient visits per day
• Weekend coverage required at least every other weekend
• Self-scheduling available
• No on-call requirements
• May be required to float as needed to Anderson County Hospital
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Trauma Level IV experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Scrub color: Navy
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Required skills: General Emergency Department (Combined Adult/Pedi), interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, central line care/management, IV vasopressors, CPAP/BiPAP, ventilated patient care, isolation precautions, and triage
• Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, and rapid response teams
• Serves patients of all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted
• Kansas license or compact license required at time of submission
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
