ED RN Job in Cypress, TX

We are seeking an RN for a 13-week travel position in the Emergency Department at HCA Houston N Cypress. This is a day shift role working 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., three days per week on a rotating weekend schedule.

Position Details

• Weekly pay: $1,996
• Assignment duration: 91 days
• Start date: September 14, 2026
• Shift: 3x12 Days (7 a.m.–7 p.m.)
• Patient ratios: 4:1 or 5:1
• No floating required
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH, and TNCC certifications
• Ability to work rotating weekends

Responsibilities

You will perform typical emergency department procedures including tPA administration, STEMI care, CPR, laceration repair, and orthopedic care. The day shift team includes 1 Charge RN, 1 Triage RN, 4 Bedside RNs, 1 HUC, and 1 Tech. You will work with Philips equipment and the Meditech EMR system.
