Pediatric Emergency Department RN Job in Denver, CO

HCA HealthONE Presbyterian St. Luke's is seeking an RN for the Pediatric Emergency Department in Denver, CO. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 26, 2026.

Position Overview

You will work three 12-hour night shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM in a 23-bed Emergency Department on the 1st floor. Your typical patient ratio is 4:1, with 5:1 during surge periods. You will collaborate with a night shift team of 4 RNs, 1 EMT, and 1 charge nurse.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and assessment in the Pediatric ED
• Perform procedures including IV starts, venipuncture, port access, nasal wash, point-of-care testing (glucometer), EKG, and Foley placement
• Utilize GE monitors for patient monitoring
• Document care using the Meditech EMR system

Required Qualifications

• RN degree
• Minimum 1 year of current Pediatric ED RN experience
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC (PALS accepted in lieu of ENPC)

Preferred Qualifications

• CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse) or CPEN (Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse)
• ENUS IV competency

Compensation

Weekly pay is $1,822.
