Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Located on the 2nd floor Telemetry/2 South unit in the main hospital building
• RN to patient ratio of 5:1
• Work alongside 1 Charge Nurse, 3-4 RNs, and 2 PCTs per shift
• Use GE wireless telemetry boxes, Welch Allyn vital sign machines, and Meditech EMR system
• Perform neurovascular checks on limbs, frequent ambulation and repositioning
• Apply orthopedic precautions and provide comprehensive pain control
• Treat a wide variety of patients including blunt force trauma, poly trauma, SCIs, GSWs, stabbings, chest pain, stroke workups, CHF, Afib, RVR, and TBIs
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care Telemetry RN experience required
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• NIH Certification preferred
• Trauma/orthopedic experience preferred
• Neuro/stroke experience preferred
• Positive attitude and teamwork-oriented mindset required
