Telemetry RN Job in Corpus Christi, TX

Join Doctors Regional Medical Center as a Telemetry RN on the 2 West unit. You will provide direct patient care in a 16-bed telemetry unit (expandable to 24 beds based on census) serving medical and surgical patients. This is a 13-week travel assignment beginning September 28, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• 3x12 day shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Rotating weekends required
• $1,674 weekly pay

Your Responsibilities

• Manage 4 to 6 patients per shift with a maximum ratio of 6:1
• Perform IV insertions, urinary catheter insertion and maintenance, and central line maintenance
• Administer medications and maintain accurate EHR documentation using Meditech
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary care team members
• Float to medical-surgical units as needed
• Comply with standard unit dress code and equipment protocols

Qualifications

• Current RN certification required
• Minimum 1 year of acute medical-surgical experience within the last year required
• Ability to care for 4 to 6 patients at a time required
• 2 or more years of acute medical-surgical experience within the last year preferred
• Orthopedic or neuro-surgery background preferred; medical-surgical or telemetry background will suffice

You will work alongside one charge nurse, one additional RN, and one patient care assistant per shift. Your role requires strong clinical skills, effective teamwork, and a patient-centered approach to care.
