CT Technologist Job in Farrell, PA

Join Southwest — UPMC Horizon in Shenango Valley as a CT Technologist. This is a 90-day travel position starting September 14, 2026, offering $3,421 weekly pay.

Schedule & Logistics

• Rotating shifts: 6:30 AM–3:00 PM, 8:00 AM–8:30 PM, 11:00 AM–11:30 PM
• 5 work days per week with rotating weekend requirements
• No on-call duties
• On-site parking available
• Scrub color: Black or Royal Blue

Core Responsibilities

• Independently perform computed tomography procedures using established scan protocols
• Conduct routine CT and CTA exams, including possible daily quality control
• Administer PO, rectal, and IV contrast per physician orders and department policy
• Perform venipuncture and operate power injectors according to set protocols
• Start IVs and perform occasional patient transport to and from the ER
• Assess patients for potential risk factors prior to contrast media administration
• Utilize complex imaging equipment for acquisition, analysis, reconstruction, and documentation of image data
• Identify all patients using two patient identifiers and review patient history to apply specific departmental protocols
• Document patient history in electronic record as required
• Ensure all exams are properly coded, tracked, networked, and charges are accurately entered

Required Qualifications

• Allied Health Professional credential
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
• Graduate of an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited CNMT program
• CT registry must be acquired within 18 months of primary registry acquisition or date of hire
• ARRT Certificate
• BLS certification
• PA Act 31, PA Act 33, PA Act 34, PA Act 73 certifications
• Experience with GE scanners required
• EPIC experience required
