PCU - Progressive Care Unit

RN - Stepdown

Job Details:

• Work on a 24-bed telemetry unit with the capability of taking 8 step-down patients
• Patient ratios of 3:1 for step-down, 5:1 for day shift, and 6:1 for night shift
• Team Nursing model utilized on the unit
• Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Perform ACLS-related skills including pushing and pulling medications
• Physical requirements include pushing, pulling, and lifting
• Communicate effectively as part of a collaborative team environment
• Navy blue scrubs required as dress code
• ACLS certification required
