PCU RN Job in Albany, NY

Albany Medical Center is seeking an experienced RN for a 91-day travel assignment in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). You will work the night shift, 3 x 12-hour shifts per week, earning $2,597 weekly.

The Progressive Care Unit provides intermediate-level care for patients who require closer observation and more intensive nursing care than those on general medical-surgical units but who are not yet ready for discharge. In this role, you will monitor patients transitioning between the intensive care environment and standard inpatient care, applying clinical judgment to recognize changes in patient status and respond appropriately.

Key Requirements:

• Current RN license
• Neuro-Progressive Care, Step-Down, or ICU experience required
• Must complete Neuro-Progressive competency exam upon offer
• Epic electronic health record experience required
• Navy blue scrubs required
