MRI Technologist Job in Round Rock, TX

You'll work as an MRI Technologist on the overnight shift at Round Rock Medical Center in Round Rock, TX. This is a 13-week contract position running Monday through Thursday, 8:30 PM to 6:00 AM, giving you a predictable four-day work week with weekends off.

Your Role

You'll perform MRI procedures across multiple imaging types, including neuro, general body, and musculoskeletal studies. You'll operate GE Artist 1.5 MRI equipment and work with Meditech EMR and Fuji Synapse PACS systems. As the sole MRI tech on the overnight shift, you'll coordinate with X-ray, CT, and ultrasound technologists to support imaging operations. You must be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification
• BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross
• Ability to work the overnight schedule consistently

Preferred Qualifications

• Multimodality experience in X-ray or CT
• Willingness to take call when needed

• Four 10-hour shifts per week: Monday–Thursday, 8:30 PM–6:00 AM
• Call not required, but flexibility is valued
• Weekly pay: $2,441
