Kohala Hospital is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department in Kapaau, HI. This is a 91-day travel position starting December 14, 2026, offering $2,735 weekly pay.

Role Overview

You will provide emergency nursing care in a small, rural Emergency Department setting. This position is classified as Rapid Response Crisis due to urgent staffing needs, meaning the facility relies on your expertise to support critical patient care demands.

Schedule & Shift Details

• 12-hour shifts
• Rotating schedule including days and nights based on facility needs
• Weekend and holiday shifts required

Key Requirements

• Current RN licensure
• Strong EPIC experience required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced emergency environment
• Flexibility with rotating schedules and holiday coverage

What You'll Do

As an ED RN, you will assess patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries, perform emergency interventions, collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, and document care in the electronic health record system. Your clinical judgment and ability to prioritize will be essential in this rural hospital setting where resources and staffing are limited.
