ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour mid shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM
• 13-week assignment
• Expected to work most shifts as Charge RN
• Minimum 2 years of experience at a similar type facility caring for patients in a Level IV facility required
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a trauma center required
• Triage experience is necessary (Relias triage exam to be completed during orientation)
• Experience with ICU holds required
• Neonatal codes are run by the L&D team; ER charge runs ER codes
• 8-bed emergency department with Fast Track beds staffed by NP/PA with an LPN
• Patient ratio of 1:4 per state law requirements
• EMR system: Paragon
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and PALS
• Preferred certifications: NIHSS and TNCC
• NRP certification required after 6 months of starting assignment
