ED RN Job in Thornton, CO

HCA HealthONE Mountain Ridge in Thornton, CO is seeking a travel RN to join the Emergency Department on a 91-day assignment beginning August 31, 2026.

Role and Responsibilities

You will work three 12-hour night shifts each week, from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM, in a 40-bed Emergency Department. Your responsibilities include rapid patient assessment, stabilization, and intervention procedures. You will conduct vital signs and ECG monitoring, manage equipment including IV pumps, EV 1000, EKG machines, ultrasound machines, and GE equipment, and document care using the Meditech EMR system.

You will maintain a patient ratio of 4:1 and work alongside a team of RNs, Paramedics, and EMTs. Night shift staffing includes 1 CNC, 6 RNs, 1 EMT, and 1 Medic.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 1 year of acute care ED RN experience
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC
• Trauma Level 1 or Level 2 experience preferred
• Prior Meditech EMR experience preferred

Compensation

You will earn $1,749 weekly. This is a 91-day travel contract.
