ED RN Job in Greeley, CO

You'll work as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Banner North Colorado Medical Center, located at 1801 16th St in Greeley, CO. This is a 3x12 night shift position with an 89-day duration, starting November 9, 2026. You'll earn $2,398 per week.

Your responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards. You will conduct comprehensive patient assessments that consider physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural factors. You'll review patient histories, diagnostics, and laboratory data, reporting abnormal results to physicians and appropriate caregivers.

You'll formulate individualized plans of care based on patient-specific needs and work with the medical team to implement them. Your role includes coordinating, delegating, and supervising health care team activities to ensure quality care and continuity. You'll document all assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation accurately and in a timely manner in the patient record.

Additional duties involve evaluating patient and family responses to care and teaching, revising the plan of care as needed. You'll participate in unit and facility shared leadership initiatives and contribute to improvement of national nursing quality indicators. As appropriate, you'll mentor and precept staff to support professional growth and development.

Your schedule will vary with every other weekend and holiday per unit rotation. You'll be primarily based at this facility with potential float to support Banner Fort Collins as needed.

Requirements:

• Current, valid RN license
• Minimum one year of acute care hospital experience
• Experience working in an acute care setting within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department specialty
• Required certifications: CO CAPS, BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS
• Telemetry verification required upon arrival
• Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred
