ED Registered Nurse Job in Waupaca, WI

ThedaCare - Waupaca is hiring a Registered Nurse for their Emergency Department. This is a 13-week travel contract starting August 3, 2026.

Role and Schedule:

• 3x12-hour night shifts, 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend rotation required
• Holiday rotation required
• No on-call or callback requirements
• 8-bed unit with 1:4 patient ratio

Compensation: $2,493 weekly pay.

Requirements:

• Current Wisconsin RN license
• Minimum 3+ years RN experience
• Minimum 2+ years ED experience
• At least one completed travel contract (no new travelers)
• Epic charting experience within the last year
• AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
• TNCC and NIHSS certifications
• Strong communication skills
• BSN not required; Associate Degree or Certificate accepted

About the Position: This is a float position that may cover both Emergency Department and ICU patient loads across ThedaCare facilities. You must be comfortable with varied patient acuity and willing to work in multiple unit settings within the organization.

Location Restriction: You cannot be traveling from a facility or home location within 50 miles of ThedaCare Corporate Center in Neenah, WI.
