ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour evening and night shifts with flexibility required - evening shifts ranging from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 1:00 AM, and night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Every other weekend rotation required
• Potential to work the night before holidays and on holidays
• Any missed shift must be made up within 2 weeks of the absence
• Float requirements include all ThedaCare facilities within up to a 60-mile radius
• No on-call or callback requirements
• 18-bed emergency department unit with a 1:4 patient ratio
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience required
• Minimum 2+ years of ER experience required
• Triage experience strongly preferred
• Epic charting experience within the last year required
• At least one completed travel assignment required
• BSN not required but strongly preferred; Associate Degree or Certificate accepted
• Previous travel experience required - providers whose home location or current facility is within 50 miles of ThedaCare Corporate in Neenah, WI are not eligible
• Required certifications: WI RN, AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS
• Scrub color: Solid black required for all RNs
