Physical Therapist Outpatient Job in Baltimore, MD

You will work as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting at MedStar Health Physical Therapy at Catonsville. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 12, 2026.

Position Details

• Schedule: 5 shifts of 8 hours per week with flexible start and end times
• Weekly pay: $2,173
• Location: Baltimore, MD
• Patient volume: approximately 11 patients per day
• Patient population: adolescents through geriatric adults

Clinical Responsibilities

You will provide general outpatient physical therapy with a focus on orthopedic conditions. You will work with both non-surgical and post-operative patients, managing cases including total hip replacements, total knee replacements, and sports medicine injuries.

Your clinical skills will include adaptive devices, ankle sprains, active range of motion (AROM), active-assisted range of motion (AAROM), passive range of motion (PROM), extremity mobilization, gait training, spinal mobilization, splinting, and therapeutic modalities such as electrical stimulation, TENS, moist heat, and cryotherapy.

Required Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist license: either a compact license or an active Maryland license
• BLS certification (current)
• Minimum 2 years of recent physical therapy experience within the last 7 years
• Minimum 1 prior travel assignment
• Two supervisory references required, including one from your most recent assignment
• Must reside outside a 60-mile radius to qualify as a traveler
