ICU - Intensive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Night shift position working 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekend hours as required by facility
• Stand by for low census with 1 hour to report
• Float to areas of clinical competence as needed
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a high acuity ICU required
• Must be able to titrate complex IV drips including vasopressors
• Must be able to care for complex medical, surgical, trauma, and stroke patients
• Patient ratio is typically 1:2, may vary to 1:1 or 1:3 depending on acuity and staffing
• Equipment used includes IV pumps, chest tubes, GE monitoring, Arctic Sun, glucometers, and feeding pumps
• EMR system: EPIC
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA only), PALS, TNCC
• Preferred certification: NIHSS
• Dress code: Black scrubs required; t-shirts and sweatshirts not approved by facility are not acceptable
