CT Technologist Job in Mechanicsburg, PA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a CT Technologist for a 90-day travel assignment at Central - UPMC West Shore in Mechanicsburg, PA. You will work the night shift, Friday through Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, on a 3-day-per-week schedule.

About the Role

As a CT Technologist, you will independently perform computed tomography procedures using established scan protocols, including contrast administration. Your responsibilities include:

• Operate complex imaging equipment for acquisition, analysis, reconstruction, and documentation of image data
• Adjust protocols and apply prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnostic CT purposes based on clinical need
• Demonstrate proper venipuncture technique and power injector use according to departmental protocols
• Administer PO, rectal, and IV contrast per physician orders and assess patients for potential risk factors prior to contrast media administration
• Ensure all exams are properly coded, tracked, networked for archiving and interpretation, with charges accurately entered
• Review patient history and physician orders, applying departmental protocols for optimal results
• Identify all patients using two patient identifiers and utilize universal protocol during procedures

Requirements

• 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
• Graduate of an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited CNMT program
• Current ARRT Certificate and Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTC)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• PA Act 31, PA Act 33, PA Act 34, and PA Act 73 compliance

Compensation

Weekly pay: $2,890.80. Assignment start date: September 7, 2026.
