Physical Therapist Job in San Antonio, TX

Methodist Hospital Stone Oak in San Antonio is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week contract position. This is a day shift role running 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, with the option to extend to 10-hour shifts if desired.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy evaluations and treatments for acute care patients across floors 1 through 6
• Float to all hospital areas including the Emergency Room, Surgical units, Pre- and Post-OP, Medical, Telemetry, Neuro-Medical, Step-Down, Medical ICU, Neuro ICU, and Cardiac ICU
• Manage a patient caseload of 8 patients as a full-time therapist
• Document patient care using the Meditech electronic medical records system

Requirements

• Current Texas PT license
• Current BLS certification
• Acute care experience required
• ICU experience preferred
• Vestibular experience preferred

Compensation and Details

Weekly pay is $2,031. The assignment runs for 91 days, with a start date of September 28, 2026. Dress code requires black scrub pants and an olive top.
