ICU RN Job in Des Moines, IA

MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center is seeking an RN for a 6-month contract assignment in the ICU. You'll work 12.5-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM on a 3x12 schedule, with every other weekend and every other holiday off.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Intensive Care Unit
• Monitor critically ill patients and respond to acute changes in condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based care
• Document patient assessments and interventions per facility protocols

Schedule & Duration

• Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, three 12.5-hour shifts per week
• Every other weekend rotation
• Every other holiday rotation
• 6-month long-term assignment to assist through the winter holiday season
• Start date: July 13, 2026

Compensation

• Weekly pay: $2,342.34

Qualifications

• Current RN license (Iowa)
• ICU experience preferred
• Ability to work night shifts and rotating weekends
