ED RN Job in Aurora, CO

Join HCA HealthONE Aurora as an Emergency Department RN on a 91-day travel assignment. You'll work three 12-hour night shifts each week from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, providing direct patient care in a 50-bed ED.

Role Responsibilities

• Deliver complete emergency care for all assigned patients
• Monitor and manage patients using EKG, cardiac monitors, and blood glucose monitoring equipment
• Collaborate with a night team of 7–8 RNs and 2–3 EMT/Medic personnel
• Document all care in the Meditech electronic medical record system
• Maintain patient safety and communication standards in a fast-paced environment

Staffing and Patient Load

You'll typically manage patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:5. Ratios are not guaranteed and may vary based on census and acuity.

Required Qualifications

• RN license (active and current)
• Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital ED experience
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC

Preferred Experience

• Level 1 Trauma experience
• Stroke care experience

Assignment Details

Start date: September 28, 2026. Duration: 91 days. Weekly pay: $1,808. This is a night shift position requiring flexibility and strong clinical judgment in an emergency setting.
