Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• 4x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Every other weekend required
• On-call is rare; if required, on-call is for the first 4 hours
• Float within scope to meet facility needs between like units or sister facilities may be required
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• 2 years of Med/Surg Tele experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Preferred certification: NIHSS
• Epic charting experience required
• Royal Blue scrubs required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Patients served include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Required skills include cardiac telemetry, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, central line care and management, blood product administration, BiPAP/CPAP management, high flow nasal cannula, wound care and wound vac, PICC line management, peripheral line care and management, starting and maintaining IVs, phlebotomy, pacemaker management, telemetry monitoring, and use of rapid response and code teams
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation
