ED RN Job in McKinney, TX

Join Medical City McKinney as an RN in our 37-bed Level 2 Trauma Emergency Department. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting September 14, 2026, working three 12-hour night shifts per week (6 PM–6 AM) at $1,996 weekly.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency environment
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:4 in your zone
• May float to hold admitted ED patients within the department as needed
• Work alongside a dedicated team including charge nurses, techs, paramedics, and mid-shift staff

Scheduling & Requirements

• Three 12-hour night shifts weekly (6 PM–6 AM)
• Four weekend shifts required within each 4-week period
• No on-call responsibilities
• Scrub color required: Royal Blue top and bottom

Clinical Requirements

• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
• Meditech EMR experience required
• Experience with GE Monitors
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high-caliber patient experience

You'll work in a collaborative environment where night shift staffing includes one charge nurse, seven RNs, two Techs/Paramedics, and five mid-shift RNs with two mid-shift techs. This assignment offers a stable schedule, no on-call burden, and the opportunity to work in a Level 2 Trauma center serving the McKinney area.
