ICU - Intensive Care Unit

RN - CCU

Job Details:

• Work 12.5-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend commitment required (Friday and Saturday nights)
• No on-call requirements
• Specialty focus in Neurosurgical and Neurological Intensive Care
• Patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3 depending on patient acuity
• Work with equipment including Alaris Pumps, Arctic Sun, Prismax, EV 1000, and Neuroptics Pupillometer
• EMR system: Epic
• Must have Neuro ICU experience, comprehensive assessment skills, and ability to care for hemodynamically unstable and mechanically ventilated patients
• Thorough neurological assessment skills required
• Preferred experience with Pupillometer, EVD, ICP waveform management, CRRT, and Epic
• Care for patients with ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, post-op craniotomy, seizures, encephalopathy, and neurologic tumors
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Floating required to other inpatient areas when home unit is low census
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Scrub color: Navy (hoodies not acceptable)
