Telemetry RN Job in Springfield, MO

Join Mercy Hospital Springfield as a Telemetry RN on our Medical 7B unit. This is a 13-week travel nursing assignment offering 3×12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) with flexible guaranteed hours of 36 or 48 hours per week. You will earn $2,102.40 weekly.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to medical telemetry patients and those with developmental delays
• Monitor and manage telemetry equipment, IV pumps, and tube feeding systems
• Perform drug titration based on patient assessment and physician orders
• Work with lift equipment to safely assist patients with mobility and positioning
• Float on a rotational basis as needed
• Document care using the EPIC EMR system

Requirements

• Current RN license eligible for Missouri licensure or already licensed in Missouri
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient telemetry experience
• BLS certification from AHA (required)
• NIHSS certification (must be obtained prior to start if not currently held)
• Demonstrated competence in drug titration
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required November 1 through April 1

Important Details

• No call requirements
• Weekend work as required by facility
• Patient ratios: nights typically 1:6–1:7 (not guaranteed)
• Black scrubs required
• Night shift orientation occurs on day shift; you must be available for the entire orientation week
• Physical demands include standing and walking most of the shift, bending, stooping, and lifting/turning patients with assistance
