ICU - Intensive Care Unit

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work in a 16-bed, mixed-acuity ICU environment servicing Critical Care, Stepdown, and Cardiac Telemetry patients
• Patient ratios vary from 1:2 to 1:4 depending on acuity level
• Work alongside skilled nurses, patient support technicians, and monitor technicians
• Provide quality, patient-centered care across all three levels of patient acuity
• Care for adult patient population
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• 1 year minimum experience with EPIC EMR required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Preferred certification: CCRN
• Required skills: Care of ventilated patients, continuous IV sedation, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, procedural sedation administration and monitoring
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
• Floating to other units and/or campuses may be required based on census needs
• Pre-assignment testing and modules required to be completed within 48 hours of receiving login information
• Orientation held every Monday
