RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work five 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with late shifts required a few times per month
• STEMI call required - approximately one week's worth of call spread over a 12 to 16 week period
• Call schedule includes 24 hours of call on a Saturday and 24 hours of call on a Sunday
• Call shifts include some half nights from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM and some 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM call shifts
• Must be prepared to arrive and be ready to work within 30 minutes of STEMI activation
• Holiday coverage required as needed
• Daily census of approximately 25 to 35 cases per day
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CCI RCIS
• Must be knowledgeable in orbital atherectomy, rotational atherectomy, IABP, IMPELLA, OTC, ECMO, flow wire, manifold, sheath pulling, and all other Cath Lab adjuncts
• Must be proficient with XPER and EPIC's CUPID to monitor cases
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Required to scrub procedures
• Skills required include circulating procedures, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, monitoring procedural sedation, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam with up to two attempts allowed
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Travelers may be floated to any campus location as needed
