Opportunity:

Certified Surgical Tech - CVOR Tech

Job Details:

• Work in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) unit with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Scheduling requirements: CST Monday through Thursday 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM or Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• May float to main operating rooms as needed
• Scrub or circulate procedures, room set up, and room turn over
• Obtain disposables and instrument sets as needed
• Perform sterile technique, central line set up, and arterial line set up
• Operate Belmont equipment and perform cell saver set up
• Work with equipment including Belmont, ESU, and positioning equipment
• Document using Meditech Expanse system
• Perform procedures including open heart procedures, CABG, MVR, TVR, AVR, VATS, and vascular procedures
• Direct patient contact requiring excellent communication, provider relations, and a team approach to problem solving
• Proactively plan for potential issues before they arise with a forward-thinking approach
• Required certifications: BLS
• CNOR certification preferred
• Scrubs provided
