CVOR Technologist Travel Job in Reston, VA

Join Reston Hospital Center as a Certified Surgical Technologist in our Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR). This 91-day travel assignment runs 5 days per week, 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM, with a weekly pay of $2,351.

In this role, you will work with a 1:1 patient ratio in a specialized cardiac surgical environment. Your responsibilities include:

• Scrubbing and circulating procedures as assigned
• Performing room setup and turnover between cases
• Obtaining disposables and instrument sets
• Applying sterile technique throughout all procedures
• Assisting with central line and arterial line setup
• Operating and setting up Belmont fluid warmers and cell saver equipment
• Working with ESU, positioning equipment, and other OR technology
• Documenting in the Meditech Expanse system
• Floating to main operating rooms as needed per facility policy

You will participate in a wide range of cardiac and vascular procedures, including open heart surgery, CABG, valve replacements (MVR, TVR, AVR), VATS, and vascular cases. This position requires excellent communication skills, a proactive problem-solving approach, and strong teamwork in a fast-paced surgical setting.

Requirements:

• Current BLS certification (required)
• CNOR certification (preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to anticipate and plan for potential issues
• Direct patient contact and collaborative team approach
