ICU Registered Nurse Job in Sioux City, IA

UnityPoint - St. Luke's Downtown is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a temporary assignment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). You will work the night shift, 3 days per week at 12 hours each, with every third weekend required. This is a 98-day position starting October 26, 2026, offering $2,280.96 per week with 16 guaranteed hours per block.

Your Role

You will join an interdisciplinary team, applying your professional and clinical knowledge to provide and manage patient care in a critical care environment. There are no on-call responsibilities for this position. You may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses as clinical needs dictate.

Requirements

• Valid Iowa nursing license
• 2 or more years of ICU experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred; American Red Cross or US Military certificates accepted)
• Current PALS certification (American Heart Association preferred; American Red Cross or US Military certificates accepted)
• TNCC certification preferred
• Valid driver's license
• ICU-specific skills checklist completion required
• One supervisory reference form completed within the last two years
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
