ICU RN Job in Des Moines, IA

You will work as a registered nurse in the intensive care unit at MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center, delivering nursing care to critically ill patients in a high-acuity environment.

Position Details

• Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend on-call hours required
• Duration: 181 days, starting July 27, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,572

Your Responsibilities

• Provide intensive care nursing services to critically ill patients
• Monitor and assess patient conditions continuously
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as required for ICU patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication within the care team

What You Bring

• Current RN licensure
• Experience working in an intensive care setting
• Ability to work night shifts and on-call hours
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

This is a six-month contract assignment. You will be part of a dedicated ICU team providing round-the-clock care to patients requiring intensive monitoring and intervention.
