Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in Phoenix, AZ

St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix is seeking an RN for its Cardiac Cath Lab. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 12, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• 3 shifts per week, 12-hour days (6:00 AM–6:30 PM)
• Monday through Friday with 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
• On-call shifts vary between 6 and 10 per schedule with 30-minute response time
• Weekly pay: $2,533

Role and Responsibilities

• Circulate in a 3-bed cath lab, 1 EP lab, and 1 hybrid room
• Handle 10 to 25 cases per day: interventional, EP lab, peripherals, cardiology, vascular, MitraClip, TAVR, IABP, and EMTALA placements
• RNs circulate; no scrubbing required
• Charting on Cerner and Xper systems
• Work with Phillips and Siemens equipment

Facility Support

• Scrubs provided by facility
• Pharmacy and respiratory therapy available 24/7
• 2-day on-the-job orientation

Requirements and Qualifications

• Arizona RN license required
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• BSN not required
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Must pass a Dysrhythmia Exam with a minimum score of 80% prior to contract start (two attempts allowed)
• Must complete SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes (pass/fail)
• Competency in sterile field technique essential for SIMs Lab success
