PCU - Progressive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - IMC

Job Details:

• 3x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• No call requirements
• Holidays as needed
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract
• Float between IMC, Orthopedic, and Rehabilitation units as needed
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS, MENDS
• AHA or ARC certifications only accepted
• Patient ratio of 5:1 across all shifts
• Care for adult patients with diagnoses including hip fractures, osteomyelitis, cellulitis, acute kidney injury, pneumonia, bowel obstructions, and general medical/surgical conditions
• Perform and assist with procedures including total joint arthroplasties and spinal fusions
• Operate special equipment including bucks traction and telemetry monitors
• Skills required include blood product administration, BiPAP/CPAP management, central line blood draw, telemetry monitoring, wound care/wound vac, PICC line management, and IV insulin protocols
• Tobacco and fragrance free facility
