ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ED

Job Details:

• Work in a 30-bed Emergency Department with patient ratios of 1:5 at most, dependent on acuity
• Day shift staffing includes CNC-1, RNs based on volume forecast (7-10 RNs), 2 PCT/EMT, and 1 US
• Night shift staffing includes CNC-1, RNs based on volume forecast (7-10 RNs), 1 PCT/EMT, and 1 US
• Alternate weekend schedule required
• Perform typical procedures including thoracotomy, arterial lines, and massive transfusion protocol (MTP)
• Must have advanced critical thinking skills and extensive experience with trauma, STEMI, stroke, and sepsis
• Adult and pediatric ED experience preferred
• Work with advanced monitors, defibrillators, ultrasound, and EKG machines
• EMR system: Meditech, transitioning to Expanse
• May float to two free-standing EDs if needed
• Dress code: Royal Blue scrubs following facility dress code policy
• Required certifications: ENPC, TNCC, ACLS, PALS, BLS, CPI with TIC (NRP and STABLE a plus)
