Physical Therapist Assistant Job in Ridgecrest, CA

Join Ridgecrest Regional Hospital as a Physical Therapist Assistant working in inpatient and Skilled Nursing Facility settings. You'll provide direct patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment serving adult populations across multiple care levels.

Role Responsibilities:

• Treat 7–8 patients daily with approximately 45 minutes per patient session
• Deliver physical therapy services in both inpatient and SNF environments
• Float to acute units as needed to support patient care demands
• Work with patients requiring ventilator support, drips, and machine-dependent care
• Document progress and communicate with the clinical team using the PARAGON EMR system

Schedule & Duration:

• Five 8-hour day shifts per week
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off; no block scheduling
• 90-day assignment beginning September 8, 2026

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of a nationally accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
• Current California Physical Therapy License
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
• Inpatient care experience
• Experience managing patients on ventilators, drips, and medical equipment
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• NIHSS certification required
