Telemetry RN Job in Orangeburg, SC

MUSC Health Orangeburg is hiring a Registered Nurse for Telemetry. You will work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, three shifts per week, with every other weekend required. No on-call responsibilities.

Role Details

• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Cardiac telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Peripheral line care and oxygen administration
• May float within scope to meet facility needs
• Charting via Epic system

Patient Population

You will care for adults and geriatric patients with diagnoses including diabetes, hypertension, coronary artery disease, ESRD, chronic respiratory illnesses, and arrhythmias.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in Med-Surg/Telemetry
• South Carolina license or Compact license in hand prior to start
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Demonstrated skills in cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, peripheral line care, and oxygen administration

Preferred Qualifications

• Community hospital background
• Epic charting experience
