Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekly guaranteed hours of 36 or 48 hours must be indicated at time of submission
• 13-week assignment
• Every other weekend required
• No call requirements
• Patient ratios of 1:6-7 on night shift (ratios not guaranteed)
• Care for surgical patients including GI, GU, Plastics, and Overflow Ortho
• May be floated to other units depending on staffing needs
• Utilize nursing process to provide patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort
• 1 year of Med Surg inpatient experience required
• Current RN license meeting eligibility criteria for Missouri required
• Required certification: BLS from AHA only
• Preferred certifications: ACLS from AHA only, TNCC
• Equipment used includes Alaris IV pumps, Kangaroo enteral feeding pumps, wound vacs, SCD machines, PCA pumps, low air loss mattresses, and remote telemetry monitors
• EMR system: EPIC
• Scrub color: Black, Mercy M Wear only
