Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work on a 20-bed Transplant Nephrology unit
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• 3 weekend shifts per month required
• No on-call requirements
• Agency and contract nurses float first per unit floating policy
• Unit support includes unit secretary during the day, PCTs, and a unit educator
• Virtual nurse completes patient admissions allowing bedside nurses to focus on other patients
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Perform med/surg care; dialysis is conducted off the unit
• Required skills: med/surg, nephrology, kidney transplants, renal, and dialysis experience
• ADN required
• Required certification: BLS
• Dress code: Royal blue scrubs; black scrub pants permitted
