Physical Therapist Job in LaGrange, GA

Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange, GA is seeking a Physical Therapist for inpatient rehabilitation. This is a day shift position offering competitive weekly pay of $1,828 for a 91-day assignment beginning October 2, 2026.

Position Details

• Day shift hours: 7:30 AM–4:30 PM or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (including 30-minute lunch break)
• One Saturday per month required
• Inpatient rehabilitation setting

Your Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop individualized rehabilitation plans to improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformity
• Implement physical therapy treatment plans and select appropriate activities to progress patients toward established goals
• Collaborate with physicians to establish, evaluate, and revise treatment programs and discharge plans
• Revise goals and plans of care based on patient and family input
• Provide education, training, and discharge instructions to patients and families
• Document all evaluations, treatment sessions, and required information per departmental guidelines

Requirements

• PT license required
• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy
• Current BLS certification (AHA, ARC-BLS, or BLS Instructor)
• Experience in inpatient rehabilitation preferred
• Effective communication and customer service skills
• Team-oriented approach with basic computer proficiency

Royal blue scrubs are preferred but not required. This role is ideal for a licensed Physical Therapist ready to make an impact in a supportive rehabilitation environment.
