Telemetry RN Job in Conroe, TX

You will work as an RN on a 23-bed telemetry unit at HCA Houston Conroe. This is a 13-week travel position with a start date of November 9, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• Shift: 7 AM to 7 PM, three 12-hour days per week
• Weekly pay: $1,791
• 4 weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule

Unit Details

• Patient ratio: 1:6 for nurses, 1:10–15 for techs
• Day shift staffing: 1 charge nurse, 4 nurses, 2 techs, and 1 unit secretary
• Scrub color: royal blue
• Floating to other units within your skill set may be required

Your Responsibilities

• Attend daily huddle at 6:45 AM, conduct bedside shift report, and complete required daily charting
• Perform lab draws, IV insertions, foley insertions, and administer IV fluids and medications including antibiotics
• Prepare patients for surgical and non-surgical procedures
• Communicate with physicians regarding patient care
• Operate equipment including IV pumps, sequential compression pumps, vein finder, bladder scanner, EKG machine, integrated vital signs monitors, computers on wheels, and Sera Steady

Requirements and Preferred Qualifications

• Current RN license
• BLS certification required
• Telemetry experience required
• Familiarity with Expanse EMR, including admissions and discharges
• Previous Expanse experience preferred
• Ability to draw labs preferred
• At least one year of acute care experience in a medical/surgical telemetry or step-down unit preferred
