Med Surg RN Job in Thornton, CO

Join HCA HealthONE Mountain Ridge as a travel Med Surg RN for a 91-day assignment beginning August 31, 2026. This is a full-time role working three 12-hour day shifts per week, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

About the Role

You will care for post-operative surgical patients on a 29-bed Med Surg Ortho unit with overflow capacity to 39 beds. Your responsibilities include administering cardiac drips such as amiodarone, diltiazem, and heparin, managing patient care with a 5:1 patient ratio, and utilizing remote telemetry equipment. You will work alongside a charge nurse, eight RNs, and an ACT staff member (10:00 AM to 10:00 PM).

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 1 year of acute care Med Surg RN experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• EMR experience with Meditech preferred

Compensation

You will earn $1,749 weekly. ADEX Healthcare Staffing handles all travel arrangements and credentialing support.
