Med Surg RN Job in Denver, CO

Join HCA HealthONE Swedish CO as a travel Med Surg RN on a 30-bed orthopedic unit in Denver, Colorado. This 91-day assignment begins July 20, 2026, and offers you the opportunity to work with a collaborative team in a specialized acute care setting.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: 3x12 night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Duration: 91 days
• Weekly pay: $1,708.20
• Unit composition: 1 charge nurse, 4–6 bedside RNs, and 2–4 PCTs
• Patient ratio: 1:5 or 1:6

Your Role

You will care for a diverse patient population, including those recovering from elective orthopedic and orthopedic trauma procedures. Your responsibilities include IV starts, Foley and straight catheterization, continuous passive motion (CPM) application, and early mobilization procedures. You will work with specialized equipment including CPM machines, nerve block pumps, and On-Q balls to support patient recovery and pain management.

Required Qualifications

• RN degree
• Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital experience as an Orthopedic RN
• BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Med Surg experience
• ACLS certification
• Meditech EMR experience
