Respiratory Therapist Job in Biddeford, ME

Maine Medical Center - Biddeford is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel position. You will work nights on a 3x12 schedule with 36 guaranteed weekly hours and no call requirements. This role runs for 91 days, starting December 6, 2026, at $2,444.04 per week.

Your Role

You will float across all hospital areas, treating patients from newborns to adults. Your responsibilities include mechanical ventilation management, high-risk cesarean support, and resuscitation team participation in the Nursery. You will work in ICU, ER, Nursery (Level 1), and Med-Surg floors, with particular focus on pediatric patients requiring intubation and mechanical ventilation.

Required Experience & Certifications

• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• NICU and PICU experience preferred
• Experience with nursery patients and high-risk deliveries required
• Current RRT, BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications
• EPIC EMR documentation experience required

Equipment & Skills

You must have strong assessment skills and be comfortable with the following equipment: Drager V500 ventilators, V60 BiPAP, Hamilton T-1 transport ventilator, Airvo high-flow oxygen units, NeoPuff, and RAM cannula.
