ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ED ER

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM
• Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed
• Floating to other units is required
• Scrub color required: Navy Blue
• 2+ years of experience in the emergency department required
• Travel experience is required
• Some pediatrics experience required
• Provide care to patients of all ages including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patients
• Common patient diagnoses include stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Expected to provide care to all assigned patients including SANE patients
• Charge nurse capability highly preferred
• EMR experience required: EPIC
• Specialty equipment experience required: Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
• 64-bed unit including 2 triage, 40 acute, 6 super track, 2 trauma, 10 CDU, and 6 psych beds
• Required certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC (TNCC must be in hand at time of submission)
• Active NY RN license required with NURSYS verification
