Telemetry RN Job in Gettysburg, PA

WellSpan Gettysburg Hospital is seeking a registered nurse for a telemetry float pool position. You will work 3x12 night shifts, rotating every other weekend, with no on-call requirements. This is a 91-day travel contract beginning October 5, 2026, paying $2,118 weekly.

Role Overview

As a float pool RN, you will provide care across medical-surgical and telemetry units, as well as rehab areas as needed. You will manage patients requiring cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and acute care interventions. Your responsibilities include peripheral line care and management, oxygen administration, nasal cannula application, non-invasive airway management, and isolation precautions.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC only)
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system
• Strong Med Surg and Telemetry clinical skills, including dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Comfort and competency with Rapid Response and Code team participation
• Knowledge of peripheral line care, oxygen delivery systems, and non-invasive airway techniques

Contract Terms

• Maximum pre-approved time off: 7 days for the 91-day contract
• Holiday requirement: must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year's Eve/New Year's Day)

Screening Process

A clinical screening is required prior to manager interview. Plan to complete both before contract confirmation.
